Zaiden 3 months

Time flies! Zaiden is 3 months old today and continues to keep us on our toes! He is a very active boy and has been learning many new things. He can move himself around on his belly and has even figured out how to move himself forward if he can push his legs against something or can push with his legs to roll himself over sometimes....he is a fast learner and we think we are in for trouble! He also loves to play with his hands and put his hands/finger in his mouth. He is also starting to grab and hold onto toys which keeps him entertained for a while. His favorite thing to do is still to look at and "talk" to us or brother, Zander. He continues to have some trouble sleeping, although is steadily improving. We are hoping the addition of medicine for reflux as well as a change in formula may help with this. Despite all that, he is growing fast and is following in Zander's footsteps by being a very long/tall boy.

Welcoming Zaiden

The summer has been very busy as all of our family and friends helped welcome Zaiden to our family. We have had overwhelming support and excitement from everyone. We had many visitors in the first few weeks after bringing him home followed by an open house, a trip to Iowa and finally a trip to Wisconsin over the past weekend. He has been well traveled and is getting used to the busy lifestyle of the Gilliam family!

Zaiden 2 month

Time goes by so fast....Zaiden is 2 months old already! He is getting big and is very long for his age at 22 inches and he now weighs 11# 7 ounces. He loves to smile and likes to "talk" to us. His new achievement is bringing his hands to his mouth to suck on, which he loves to do (all....night....long). He is also starting to reach for the toy in his chair, likes to kick his feet on his play mat and loves to look at himself in the mirror. He is usually a pretty good eater. We are still working on the sleep though as he only likes to sleep for short stretches at a time (day and night....ugh).
